I used to LOVE ramen noodles until about 7 years ago when I quit eating meat. I'm a vegetarian now, and it would be SO awesome if Ramen Noodles (or whatever the company is called) would make a VEGETARIAN, meat-free kind. I would soooo love them for it! lol. They're EXTREMELY cheap.

When my husband was in Korea in the army he learned a trick to make them. When the guys would go into the local bars they served ramen noodles and he was hooked. Now it is the one thing that he makes for himself and the kids. He cooks the noodles according to the package and then when the broth is boiling and the noodles cooked he adds an egg to the broth and stire with a fork. It becomes like egg drop soup with the strands of cooked egg throughout the noodles. Then he puts it in a bowl and puts a slice of cheese on top. The cheese melts and it is really good.

I haven't had ramen noodles in a long time. But I used to eat them with a scambled egg in them. I'd drain the water, use the season packet to flavor the noodles. Then while the noodles were still piping hot, add a scambled egg to it. It was pretty good.

I like to have chicken flavored ramens with a slice of cheese on the top.
