I just recently found old reruns of Quantum Leap on my satellite tv. I loved that show and really like watching the reruns. I have always liked shows about time travel, but they sure are hard to figure out. Anyone else out there really like Quantum Leap?

Yep, I love Quantum Leap. It's one of my top favorite TV shows ever and I own seasons one and three on DVD.

I loved Quantum Leap. I thought it was so interesting when they would bring history into the show and relate it to the story. I think one of the things that made the show so good was that it was almost always a serious story but they added humor to it. I also liked how they ended each episode by sending him to the next destination. It was the hook to get you to watch next week. My husband was watching a show last year Journeyman and it was similar to Quantum Leap but the guy went back and forth in time. It was a really good show but I think it was cancelled.

The episode where Sam and Al switch places is pretty funny. They also start acting like each other. So, Sam gets a little lecherous. And, Al is something of a prude. And, neither one likes it.

Tonight's show was very interesting but hard to watch. This show he got stuck in a mental institution back when they still regularly did electroshock treatments. Right when he leaped into that person, he was shocked by an orderly who was not allowed to do it but did it out of anger and gave him too much voltage. It really threw Sam into a mess and he kept flipping back and forth into other people he had been previously. The only way out was to repeat the shock at the same high voltage. Well it worked...and he leaped...and tomorrow will be interesting....because now Sam is the hologram and Al is the one who leaped into a another person.

I loved Quantum Leap. Funny, I didn't think I would at first. The only reason I started watching was because USA network had been playing Macgyver (another show I loved) at a certain time and then they moved it to an hour later and put Quantum Leap in its place. I started seeing the last few minutes of Quantum Leap so I wouldn't miss any of Macgyver. And, then, I got interested in more than the last minutes and started watching full episodes. I didn't bother trying to figure out the time travel. It was just interesting to see Sam having to pretend to be other people and get used to the different periods. And, I loved his friendship with Al. And, I still hate the ending of the series. Wanted to throw something at the tv at the end.

I know. I hate when they cancel all the shows I really liked. Especially when they put something in there that I don't like.

I have not seen Quantum Leap for years I loved that show. What network did you find it on. I doubt if I'll get, but it won't hurt to try.

It's on ION TV Mon, Tues, and Wed evenings at 8PM EST or EDT. I am moving and probably won't be getting satellite tv after that, so I won't be able to get it. That network is not on our local cable.

I can not remember a lot about it though..oh wait he would always be in someone elses body.. and he always had a problem their live he had to help them with.. And he usually got it all done within a 1 hour episode. Glad that you are getting to enjoy ir once again!

Yep, amazing isn't it that all these tv shows get the problems solved in a half hour, hour, or maybe even two hours!
