Wrong numbers on voice mail

I've had the same mobile phone number for many. many years and I've got voice mail with a message with my full name, as I used to use the phone as my buisiness phone, now it always amazes me when people leave a message for someonelse, someone I've never heard of.This happens from time to time and I get some really strange messages (always different people )
But what I wander is donn't people listern to your message before they leave theres ?
If they did surely they would know they had called a wrong number.

Actually I was once one of the ppl that left a message at the wrong number LOL I had called a number that was supposed to be my ex-b/f's sisters house and left a message telling her that their mom had been taken to the hospital. The ex-b/f asked me to keep calling until I reached her. I must have called 10 times...leaving frantic messages about their mom. Finally a man called me back and told me that it was the wrong number and that he didn't know their mom. I was so embarrassed. Turned out the ex-b/f gave me the wrong number and their mom wasn't as serious as he'd made it sound.

I've gotten that few times myself... I owned my cell. phone nubmer for close to 5 years now & it was ported over from when I had nextel... I answer almost all my calls & I get people with wrong number... I usually tell them they dialed a wrong number & they're good about it... It hasn't happen that much lately but I used to get that a lot...
