Hey everyone, hope your doing well, it's been a long time, and i believe everyone has been just as busy. Anyway, i was wondering what your favorite shows of the 90's were, if you want go back into the 80's as those were probably just as good and definitely better than the crap on tv now a days. Cartoons, sitcoms, talk shows, comedy, game shows, anything and everything, anything you absolutely loved back then, please tell us all. There were a bunch i used to love, including one twisted but funny one called Dame Edna and another audience, she was funny and twisted and well just cool, especially for a child, though i think she was not a woman haha, funny. Anyway there was that one, several cartoons like sonic the hedgehog, the smurfs, power rangers, i know i know, ummm omg there's so many, those weren't even my favorites. Also there was one in particular i loved but i can't remember the name of it and people keep thinking i'm crazy about it, there's a chest of different animal outfits, i believe, anyway and a bunch of people get into these suites on this stage thing, i don't remember the actual dressing but then there's a bunch of people in animal outfits, a woman in particular being a cat, i remember a fast train that they get into to go on an adventure, something about a wishing well, and a riddler, and to get to this area where the wishing well was they had to recite a riddle 3 times fast, gosh i can't remember, but if any of you can think of it i'd love to know the name of it. Anyway back to the theme of the discussion, what are your absolute all time favorite shows of the 80's and 90's!!!?

The only TV shows that i was really into in the nineties was Stargate SG1 and then Trauma: life in the ER. Other then those two shows I watched very little TV. In the eighties I lived for a while (about seven years) where I had no TV reception at all. and then lived where I only had three channels and the only one that had a good picture was a spanish brodcast station and I would watch it only if I was bored and would make up words to what they were saying.

Hi, this is a good discussion - it really brings back memories. I've forgotten the TV shows that we enjoyed so much in the past 20 years! In the 90's, I enjoyed watching Full House, Murder She Wrote, LA Law, Seinfield, the Simpsons and X-Files. The 80’s TV movies I loved watching were Cheers, Night Court, Alf, Transformers and 21 Jump Street. I have forgotten Alf , and how I'd rushed home just to catch his show!

My favourite show of all times came out of the 90s, and that show is FRASIER. I love it. I have the first four seasons on DVD, and I am saving points for Amazon gift cards, so I can buy the last seven. i think I'll ask my husband for a season or two, for Christmas gifts. That will be great for both of us, since we both really like the show.

I would say during the 80s it would be Falcon Crest, Knots Landing, Remington Steel, RIP Tide, V, Alf, Mort and Mindy, Three's a Crown, 8 is Enough, The Price is Right, Name that Tune, and a whole lot more. During the 90s, it would have to be Beverly Hills 90210 and Dawson's Creek, The Nanny, 7th Heaven, Perfect Strangers, Melrose Place. Oh I miss these.

Hello spitfire, there are many series i like from the 80's and 90´s. Shows like hey arnold(one of my favorite show of the old ones), Rocko, Pete & Pete, Power Rangers , Full House, Are you afraid of the Dark?, Sabrina, Clarissa, Dragon ball, Transformers, Thundercats, Saint Seiya. There are the ones that i could remember but there are too many great shows on both decades. The new ones dont even compare with the great shows 80´s and 90´s created. See ya and happylotting.
