When you get no responses

I have a few discussions that got no responses. It made me curious about why no one responded because there are interest groups out there for the same topics and the discussions were in those interests. But I let it go. I have one that the only response was like a spam to get me to buy some product that was not even what my discussion was about. Most of my discussions do get responses...just keep going and don't worry about the no responses.

I experience this situation but it doesn't make me quit mylot. This site give a lot of educational information. It helps me a lot. No response means the user should strive more to catch other user's interest.

Although this has not happened to me, it does feel a little frustrating if no one answers your discussion. However, it's not really a big thing because I'm enjoying my stay here at MyLot. I can find other discussions to make or respond to. Besides, I prefer answering discussions than making them.

Hmm. For me I think I opened up one discussion wherein I got no response at all but it hasn't stopped me from opening another one. xD I don't think you should quit. There will come a time when you will be receiving responses from the discussions that you've started. Be patient. :)

i hasn't happened to me yet but if it did i will not give up..it will be a challenge for me to create a much challenging discussion and much interesting so next time i will not get a zero response.

While it hasn't happened to me yet, I would just assume no one wanted to respond to that particular discussion and move on to something else It is really difficult to figure out here what people will or won't respond to. Just keep posting away is my advice. Personally I prefer responding to others than starting discussions, but that's just me

[i]Hello snakequeen, I do have discussion that have no responses and I do feel bad about them. I don't feel like quitting yet, I just feel bad about it. I still do post discussion but sparingly. It take a lot of your time when I start a discussion because I tried to give comments on all responses. I prefer to post to a discussion better. I don't remember if the discussions I have with no responses happened consequently. It doesn't matter now because as time goes by I learn that it's just part of mylot. Each has it's own experience here at mylot and that's what make us unique to each other. What's good to other it might not be to another. Well I do get discouraged from making new threads which is why I barely make any threads anymore because I figure whats the point if just a few people are going to reply to them. Plus I could probally find the same thread I was going to ask somewhere on here and Ill probally find several people asking the same exact question as I was going to ask.

I understand how you can feel discouraged after starting 3 consecutive discussions without any responses. I know that I have started discussions where I have only received one or 2 responses. I didn't feel very good when this occurred. I think it best that you respond to discussions for awhile. I would certainly advise against quitting Mylot. Give yourself a break from starting discussions. Keep responding to other people's discussions..... Have a very nice day!

I have only posted one discussion that I got NO responses to, but I don't start many discussions anyway. Mostly I just comment on other's discussions. It's really hard to know what other people will be interested in. Many of my discussions could go in more than one interest group and I think I'd have gotten a better response somewhere else. I don't let it stop me. I just go see what somebody else is talking about.

I have few discussions with no responses. In fact I have two I guess today with any response yet. I know I made a wrong post or seems nobody can answer with these due to the following; Maybe members here don't have an idea about my discussions No one is interested about these discussions Yet, I will not quit myLot, since it is a nice site and I was happy being here. It is fine for me anyway if you guys don't want to respond.
