My burner grate have 2 burners. Once I turned on a burner to heat water. I opened the other but failed to light it. I didn't notice and went out to have a bath. When I took bath I suddenly saw a red flash out of the window of bathroom. I rashed to the kitchen and found there was nothing special but both burners are working.
Do you have this kind of experience?

Many, many years ago, I caught a skillet of grease on fire in my kitchen. I didn't have anything to put it out, so I stupidly took it to the sink and ran water on it - a no no!! IT flared up and almost caught the curtains above the sink on fire!! I learned never to do that again. A girl who had graduated with me from high school had years before that caught a skillet of grease on fire, took it outside, stumbled, and she burned her face very badly. It really scared her face. I knew not to take it outside, but I didn't think about the water causing the fire to flame up. I know that now!

Hi there Lixiaos!
That's scary. Thankfully, I haven't experienced having fire on our kitchen yet and hopefully, it won't happen.
