Figure Skating

I too remember it, not being the world's most graceful person (or even close) I could only admire the talent that they add. Now, that I am older, I realize that the figure skaters are true athlete's, The stamina it takes to skate around and do the jumps and spins for several minutes is just incredible. I think football and baseball players don't even compare to the athletic ability of the skaters.

I love watching figure skating. I also love skating, although I'm not very good at it. I pretty much just go around in circles. But I think it is beautiful to watch, and it can almost keep you in a trance.

I know I feel so bad when they fall like that its gotta hurt but yet they never break there smile.

Figure skating is such an elegant and demanding sport. It all looks so effortless when they do those moves, but it must require an immense amount of study and huge talent to do so.

I used to figure skate. It was my life, my love, my passion! And no, it usually doesn't hurt when we fall!! I'm sure I have fallen millions of times, I think we just learn "how" to fall. Now my family and my kids are my love and passion, but I love what skating gave me when I was young. It was such a wonderful world to be a part of!
