I hope I can catch a break.

I work outside cutting grass for a living and I had to come home early yesterday because it started raining, so I checked the radar and it didn't act like it was going to stop. So I went home. Now its already 8:31 am and it's been raining all morning. The radar shows at least thirty more minutes and then a break for a little while before the next line of thunderstorms hits. I'm not to much worried about the money because most of my clients are on contract but that doesn't stop them from complaining. You would be surprised how many stupid people have money. It could rain for three days strait and I still get calls from customers asking why I haven't done their yards yet. I wonder sometimes why I do this. I enjoy being my own boss but I don't really enjoy what I do anymore. There was a time when I was thrilled to get any work, but now I turn away potential customers that I think might be high maintenance. I even applied with some big companies and have an interview on Friday to do some part time work with sears just because I want to break the monotony. I hope I catch a break, I'm just not sure what to look for.

Sounds like you're burned out, and that's understandable. You probably do this year round, right? Move north - then you can snowplow in the winter and cut grass in the summer!

lol, I have thought of it, and I would, save for the fact that I hate the cold with a passion. I am a true native Floridian son. Born and raised on the most beautiful beaches in the world. Yes I am burned out with this. But the bills must be paid. so off to work I go.
