Meet IRENA SENDLER

Yes, it is true. Irena Sendler saved at least 2500 polish jews during world war 2. She possibly saved 3000. It is difficult to know for sure. For her heroism she was tortured by the Nazi's and condemed to death. She only lived because friends rescued her. In 2007 she was even nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Read more about this remarkable heroine here. http://www.snopes.com/politics/war/sendler.asp I say that the Nobel Committee gave its Peace Prize to that phoney, sissy Al Gore, instead of Irana Sendler reflects very badly on the Nobel Committee. Al Gore, did what he did only to make money for his 'Green Capitialism' which is making Al Gore even more millions. Irena Sendler had the purist of motives and suffered greatly for her efforts. Who knows what the Nobel Committee was thinking? What do you say?

The Nobel Committee has no credibility. Given some of the past recipients of that silly prize of theirs... how can anyone have any favorable impression or attitude about those idiots?

It's things like this that get people to have no faith in such things. I have no doubt that Irena deserved that nobel prize more than Al Gore, but there you go.. he was the one getting it - strange huh? Different perspectives and some kind of weird - or maybe just more profitable?

More profitable? I had not thought about that. The Nobel Prize being for sale would explain this outrage.

You know I don't even want to think about a Nobel Prize being something that is up for sale, but when we see things like this... one wonders...- it sounds better than believing they're all idiots LOL Meanwhile we loose faith in the things that we actually used to respect a lot, and it's not good.

Irena Sendler has done more to promote peace than Al Gore has. The only thing Al Gore has accomplished is to make a lot of money telling a lie over and over again. Irena Sendler actually risked her life to save someone else's life, something that Al Gore has never done. All Al has accomplished to do is increase his waist line and his wallet size. Let us just realize that the Nobel Committee is made up of a bunch of European socialist, and this story just proves their motives.

The actions of people like Irena Sendler are the best evidence so far God has given us that angels are here on earth acting through people like Irena Sendler. We can consider Al Gore and the Nazi's as proof of Satan!

Don't even get me started on Al Gore! Sure he has somewhat raised awareness of the environment and global warming etc but he is ultimately a hypocritical yet savvy marketer that uses the false adulation of known celebrities and their events etc to inflate his standing. A Nobel Peace Prize should most definitely be awarded to someone like Irena Sendler. How can you compare a wannabe politician that failed at that and then chose to be a PR man with a woman who was prepared to sacrifice her own life for the sake of others?? I wonder how Al Gore would stand up to being tortured for having more than three times the energy consumption of an average property owner with the same sized area in his state? There are powerful and righteous people throughout history and there are not. This is tantamount to comparing the Dalai Llama and Jackie Chan!

If ever awarded a Nobel Prize, I think I'd be embarassed.

I say the Nobel Committee made a serious mistake in joining the hoopla bandwagon over Al Gore's international bestseller on global warming. The committee should rethink their decision, strip it from Al Gore and award it to Irene Shendler posthumously.

If the Nobel committee had any honor they would do as you say, even though they normally don't award the prize posthumously. Yes, she was remarkably still alive when nominated.

Oops! The name is Irene Sendler, not Shendler.
