currently, due to not much learning point and low increment, i am pretty demotivated with my current work. However, I can't be like that, please advise me how should I get my motivation back! I am just feeling really down now and feel like dragging myself to work everyday!

It happens to many people and is very natural . Did you consider taking a break from work?.. That may really help you to recharge your batteries and start with a new vigour. Also , you should be grateful for da fact dat u r gainfully employed which is not the case with everyone.Dont take your position for granted because then you will be doomed for stagnation.

Thanks for your advise! I just been to a trip and just not helping yet. I am looking into changes I might need like changing department or job. It seems like I am not learning much anymore. But like you said is grateful that I am employed! thanks

The truth is to get out of the job before it ruins you. You have every chance of becoming Complacent and Lazy. Choose a job that balances between the things you like and things that keep you intersted. The challenge is to find the right job. List down things you are really good at. Things that inspire you and keeps you motivated. Search what you need and I am sure this will open up all doors for you. Once you find something you like, I am pretty sure your motivation will always be up!

I perfectly understand how you feel because I had experienced the same problem as yours and had live with it for almost 3 to 4 years feeling down and helpless. I drag myself to work everyday. I always came to work late and frequently took medical leave. I did not have the passion to my job anymore. These were due to extreme load of works, low salary and increment, not to mention year end bonus, hot tempered bos, officemates politics and etc. I came to a point that I could make hold on anymore and I decided to quit. But I had prepared myself with part time jobs and lots of new job applications. Just after receiving my resignation notice, my bos decided to give me higher salary but I said no. I had enough. I am happier now and I hope you could find your way to solve your sufferings. Best of luck.
