Should marijuana be re-legalized?

Based on the current political state of the country should marijuana be re-legalized? A lot of people will take one look at this and say "re-legalized?" But that is in fact what it would be for less than a few years ago(in the species time-line), it was legal. And given the pro-marijuana stance of future president Obama, I'm just wondering what everyone thinks. Myself I do.
