I don't mess with trying to clean it up, I don't see what purpose it serves. It would take quite a bit of effort to go through my long list, and you never know if someone that hasn't been active for a while might decide to log in again.

Most of the people on my list have are not active on my lot. That's why when my lot says they have like 140 thousand people or something like that I think they are not active people. I bet there are not more than a few thousand who are actually active and post discussions. I think those are people who signed up and dropped out.

yes even if you only have a dozen of friends in mylot, not all of them are active members for some of them only log in once or twice a week. i also have active friends that no longer starts a discussion but are active members for they just surf around and respond. thanks for the response

i am a member for a year and seven months already and i had never cleaned my friends list. this would be the first attempt. i am not sure if after a year of some friends that didnt log in i am sure that they are no longer coming back. or maybe they changed their accounts already and forgot to tell me... just my views. thanks for the response

You just reminded me, I haven't done any cleaning in a while myself. I used to do this once every couple of months, just to get an idea of how many active friends I actually had. I think its good to do this every now and again. Not that the space is limited, but why have it cluttered up with people who aren't even here anymore? I'm off to do the same thing, and everyone who hasn't logged in in the past 60 days is gone. Hopefully, if they come back, they will look me up.

That's a really good tip! I will try that. Once I posted to a friend's discussion and he hadn't been active for sixty days or more. Within five minutes of posting to his discussion he popped back up on Mylot and has been here ever since! Sometimes, they need a little reminder!

Hi roniroxas I normally hold on to my friends for a while but if I find they are no longer active then I do delete them as for the friends who dont respond to my discussions I leave them or sometimes delete them as its really no use having them there-so its ok to tidy your friends list up bright blessings littleowl

well if you think that they are no longer active then why not. but is it bothering you seeing their avatars onyour profile? i think there is nothing harm done while they are just sitting there,so why should you touch it. but if you feel like you want to clean it up then that is your right. ifthey no longer response on your discussion and they are no longer starting one then i think they are no longer members of mylot.

that is what came into my mind, some of the friends who are there.... their post no longer increase and some didnt even reached the 100th post. so i think i need to delete them for it is very obvious that they are no longer a member of mylot. some of friends does not respond too at my discussion. thanks for the response and have a nice weekend

Well I haven't looked at my friends list for sometime now. And the last time i looked at it was when I approved friends in. I do not know if it has any effect in your earning capability if you shed some friends off your list. I really think if you are that organized then maybe you chousl clean it up. But as for me for as long as they do not bother me or just be there as long as they want.

I have done some friends list cleaning in the past... and i delete all those who have been inactive for like three months now... when there are less in my friends list... i find it easier to search for those whose profiles i want to check... i don't think there is any effect on the discussions or earnings...

I will never delete those people. At least we accepted each other as friends. And perhaps they are busy with doing something and therefore they are unable to spend time in Mylot. Perhaps one day they will be back. I love China

yes we accepted them as friends and that is why i started this discussion for i really dont know what to do. maybe i will just delete those people who are sitting on my list for a year and the earnings didnt reach for a 100 post. i am sure they are no longer coming back for they only are newbie and never increases the post for a year. thanks for the response

Actually I've been thinking for some time now to clean up my friends list but I never got around to do it. I don't think it affects our discussions because in the first place they're not around to respond to them, or they don't really bother to respond. But what postphones this is the thought that they might come back. I've encountered some mylotters who have been gone for a long time and now they're back and active. There are some mylotters on my friends list that I've enjoyed discussing with and I don't want to erase them yet, for the hope that they might come back. My sisters aren't active in mylot too. Mainly for the reason that they don't have 24/7-internet where they are right now. But I know that when they come home they'll post once again. So, with these resons, I can't decide if I should go through it.

the members who i like to delete are sitting there at my list for almost a year and their post didnt even increase up to a 100, so i have the feeling that they are no longer interested with mylot. i am a member for a year and a half or more and i just feel like i want to clean up my freinds list. thanks for the response and have a blessed weekend

No I actually just let them sit there and hopefully they would come back. I really don't look at my friends if they have discussions or what in that way I have more time attending to discussions my active friends have started.

Yeah I too last night started slashing those profiles that are not moving forward. I adoi not know if they are still online or what. I think it is best that you really clean up your friend list in here making things a little neat to look at.

Yes, you are thinking in the right direction. Initially, when I joined I kept on adding new friends and would accept each and every request for adding new friends. However, gradually I realised that each and every one does not remain consistently active. Many of them become inactive over a period of time. Then I started reviewing each and every friend and if I found that either he/she is not participating in my discussions or vice versa, I unhesitantly 'deleted' his/her name from my list. I found that there is no use of lengthening the list, till it serves it very purpose. I calculated if a particular member re-appears again (who was earlier in my friends's list and was subsequently deleted) I can 'add' him/her again in my list. I try to review the list periodically. I also feel that if someone has added me as his/her friend and does not find me in her/his discussions, due to any reasons, he/she has every right to 'delete' my name from his/her list.

Hello there I am looking for some new friends if your deleting some of the old ones. If they never respond then they might not even be a member any more. send them a message and see if they respond. Tha is i my advice.
