I was watching CNN, when they featured the little chinese girl that sung in the Olympics opening was lip synching? what a pity for the one who recorded the song. it should have been her up on stage. maybe it was ok, if the lip synching girl recorded her own voice...that would have been understandable...but, that of another girls voice?...how frustrating.would you allow your daughter to be either of the 2?

OMG i read that story just before i went out this evening and wanted to start a discussion here about it...how absolutely discriminating and appualing. Never in a million yrs would i let my daughter be a part of it, rather she was the one who wasnt pretty enough or the one that was...its just nuts..i would be ashamed to be the country that hte olympics are in and to have this known about me...disgusting!

I am sure china just wanted to have a perfect opening, yet at the expense of a little child.the best that could have been done was look for another child whom they will accept as the best for looks and singing.the one who owned the voice was shown on tv.cute but with bad teeth...they could have done somthing about the teeth...didnt really mattered

I thought that was really terrible. They didn't want that girl who sang to be on Tv because they said she was ugly and this other girl was cuter! Thats why i won't watch it. That poor little girl has got to feel terrible and shame on those parents for letting those little girls do it! Why for the money? I'm sorry my daughters feelings and self respect are more important than the money.
