hi there. in our country, pasta dough or the pre rolled pasta crust are quite expensive and here at home, we are too busy to do our own pasta crust from scratch. so we resort to our resourcefulness... LOL... we use ordinary bread slices as crust... we pile them high with toppings... and sprinkle them with grated cheese. and eating them with my brothers are great... hahahhaha... though the pizzabread slices disappear faster than you can blink... hahhaha.. i am quite exaggerating...but you get the picture... :-D Shiloh

I do that too! I like making pizza bread with french bread the most. Another cheap way to make pizza is using a mexican tortilla and bake it in the oven. It's good if you like a thin crunchy pizza crust. I like cutting it up like a pizza would look and serving it as an appetizer when I have friends over too. Everyone who has tried it has loved it!

I haven't done that for a while but I've made those for years. They are a nice easy way to make little pizzas. If you use a good wheat bread, it's even healthier than regular pizza crust. My husband made them when he was growing up too...he and his brother used to call them "boobies"...don't ask me why :-)

I like to put sauteed/roasted onions and red peppers on mine, sometimes a few mushrooms and green olives.

I have done this using french bread or an english muffin. I sometimes just use a jar of spaghetti sauce for the sauce then add the toppings. Yummy!

I usally have some type of pizza in the house and I eat what I have. I have a frozen french bread one now in the freezer.

hi there. what i mean is that for the pizza bread, we just use the ordinary bread slices that you use to make a sandwich. it's quick and easy. we don't use the normal pizza crust that is like the plate size. this takes so little time in preparing. we just slather tomato sauce or pizza sauce on it and pile it high with pepperoni, bacon, pineapple, mushroom and cheese. pop it into the oven. after minutes... tada! hot piping pizza... hehheeheh
