Dogs often die in highways.. U feel sad about it?

One thing I noticed is.. Usually me and my boyfriend were going through a highway, Well everytime we use the highways, we have to pay a toll fee THEN the strange thing is we often see dead dogs lying just in front the toll ways Why is so?? Aren't the drivers suppose to brake and make a stop soon? I mean the road is wide man.. there is almost 10 tolls! But the dogs just can't make it just to pass from the right side to the left side of road?? Sometimes, a car can just simply bump into two dogs trying to cross the road at the same time!!!! Are these drivers really didn't see the dog? Is it really hard to make a stop for it coz the toll is just in front? Aren't these guys suppose to stop?? I really wonder how they feel after they crash the dog..
