biggest lie you told to your family

hi all 
i am not going to ask that have you ever told lie to your family, even its small or big lie everyone must have told a lie to their family at once ,but what was the biggest of all that you have told to your family? for me my biggest lie was when i was 16 i lied my parents about going to abroad for holiday with my holiday, actually my friend wasnt able to come and i know that they were not going to send me if i have said that my friend is not coming, so i lied everything planned i got my visa,flight ticket,hotel reservation and at the last day they have discovered that i was going alone and they cancelled everything and didnt send me 
what about you? what was your biggest lie that you have told to your family?

Hi!
I was already 29 years old.
I was working in Belgium and my family was in Holland.
I sometimes came home on Wednesday, and go back on Thursday.
My family was not happy with the man I was going out with.
So, I did not tell them anything anymore about him.
What they also did not know, was that he was in Holland.
He was there for his studies.
Anyway, I went back to Belgium earlier to meet him in a near by Motel.
In Holland.
I called my familly to tell them I was safely in Belgium, when actually I
was still in Holland.
But, i figured it would not hurt anyone, so why not.
The next day I drove off to Belgium and I got into a car accident.
Lost control of the wheel.
Had to call my family , to come pick me up, hahaha!!!
I was still in Holland.
Boy were they MAD!!!!
