What if your cellphone fell at a toilet bowl...

Or you wallet, What would you do? Would you dare take it emmidiately by hand?
Yeah, i know it's gross but honestly this happened to me before, it was my first cellphone and had it for months. I put it in my jeans' back pocket and forgot to take it out when i had to pee. Then wholla! there it goes down the bowl, i was panicked and immediately took it by hand.lol! eeewww! and i had to wash it! and you know what happened next. I could use it anymore... That was a long time ago but i was reminded by a friend who did experience the same just yesterday..and he did the smae way i did.LOL!!!
How about you guys?

Hi charm,
I[i] know that I will be doing the same to save my phone..It is very yuck and eww but I have to save my phone or wallet! LOL!
It didn't happen to me so far and wish will not! LOL! I always put my phone and wallet in my purse![/i]

Yes,I will do it also just to save the phone. It never happened to me but If ever I will surely grab it by hands even , you know it is on the toilet bowl. LOL. Now I will take care of my phone.

LOL! it was one experience that i'll never forget, i'm just glad it didn't happen on public toilet..lol! i felt quite dumb and stupid but well, i learned my lesson and never to put my phone on my jeans pocket.

I never had that experience but I will probably do the same!And have it fix or get a new one because now mobile phones is very important, that is the easy way to have contact to our love ones. Anyway we can always wash our hand with soap to get rid of the bacteria.

If it did fall into the toilet bowl, I would want to put a towel around my hand and grab it before taking out the cell phone, but I would not want it to be damaged so I would take the cell phone out immediately. I would just wipe it with a dry towel and of course the water would have damaged it so I would not add to the problem by washing the stuff out of it. I would put it in a plastic bag and take it to my cell phone provider to have them test it and clean it properly. But then again I have my cell phone in my purse and I would never have it in my jeans or any pocket.

That's the funny thing i did, after taking the phone up i did wash it so its got worst! Actually i wasn't thinking clearly that time, because i panicked!lol and yes i learned to never put my phone again in my jeans pockets. Thanks for responding my friend c",) tc

even if it was a precious expensive cellphone i wouldn't be so brave to take it out from the toilet bowl unless the bowl doesn't have any water on it. ^__^;; i think i would still have the "kaartehan" and get a plastic, wrap it in my hands and then take my cellphone from the bowl. or maybe i'll just get something to fish out the cellphone from the water. just not my hand! but i understand the rush of adrenaline that made you do that mycharm.

I've had my keys fall in the toilet and I was so shocked that I just stood there wondering how in the world I was going to get them out. Finally I knew I had to just reach in and get them and then take them to the sink and wash them along with my hands. It was so gross but I had to have the keys or I wouldn't get home.

I was much luckily than u.. Though i had not drop my phone or wallet in the toilet bowl just yet, but i did drop my keys inside a toilet bowl before..
BUt when i dropped it, i had already flushed the bowl b4 i wore my jeans, and so when my keys dropped, it's still inside the 'clean' water, instead of being in a puddle of pile of things.. lol =D

Hi there charm ! I guess i would do the same even if it is gross, as i am sure that i could recover the phone and make it work again or at least recover the sim card...

if that happened to me. the same the thing that you did. its an instinct. but somebody told me that it your cell got wet in any possible situation. dry it asap and use a hair blower to dry off excess water. i dont know but i never took the advise. i had it check on the repair shop.
