computers used more than tv?

now a days computer are used more than tv. because in computer we have found more facilities. so now a days people are prefore to computers.

i do stay most of my time in front of my computer. I just watch television if there's a show im interested in.

I haven't watched TV for years. This is ridiculous,haha. Except some event or sports, for which my friends and I will gathered to whatch on TV. I didn't pay attention to TV. Yeah, u r right. We can do almost everything by computer, which is much more versatile. However, television has its own values, I think. Every time, when a program that I like suddenly show on TV, I get exciting. At least, it is kinda mysterious. On the other hand, I just searched something purposely on computer. No gold is pure. Anyway, I prefer computer to television

With a computer you can participate and there is a lot more knowledge in there than with a TV which has set broadcasting. Yes, I do believe that computers can replace TV especially with the kind of limpid shows that are being produced these days. Its better for you to participate anyway.

I spend more time in front of the computer than the television used to be the tv before I ended up with an addiction to computers. O_o sad

im spending most of my time in front of my computer. i dont usually watch movies in our tv. unless its nice and funny :p

I spend far more time using my laptop than watching television. In the week I watch about one hour of television a day and at the weekend I don't watch it at all. I use my laptop for many hours every day. I think that I prefer going on to My Lot than I do watching television. I first got a computer in 2000 and since then I have watched far less television. I have free view which means I get the 5 main television channels plus extra channels. People that pay for satellite television watch more television than me but most of them use their computers as much a me. The biggest entertainment invention is now less important.

Survey may have its own result,but i dont think it's true all over world,still Tv is the main medium of family entertainment and most of people use it,one can't comapre computers with Tvs,both are separate medium,in a family if one or two using computer ,then rest of persons using tv for their entertainment.

I defintitely spend more time in front of the computer then the television. In fact, we don't have television channels that our TV gets (we have a HDTV antenna that we haven't hooked up...). In fact, we watch TV shows from Netflix and movies on our computer! Our TV is only used for our son's movies and TV shows which are watched while the computer is being used. However, there is the whole question of how much of that computer usage is for work related items, seems that that would make a difference.

i spend more time in fron t of the computer then i do the tv. mind you i have a hubby and kids that have their shows they like to watch so anything mommy wants to watch is recorded when its on and then i get to watch it late at night after everyones gone to bed. but on my laptop i can sit anywhere in the house and use it, i have people i talk to, i have stuff i do trying to make money and i have my craft patterns which is something i do when i'm not cleaning or doing something for the kids.

yes it is true that computers are used more than televisions and i usually spend more than half of the day infornt of the computer.. computers are becoming the base of each and every thing..

I spend more time on a computer / laptop than I do in front of the TV as well. Sometimes I do both, at the moment I am sitting in the living room, I am on the laptop and my Mam is watching the TV, so I am watching it a little as well since it is on in the same room.

Hi skenthal, The only programmes I watch on tv is my soap operas and Big Brother, the reat of the programme is just rubbish and repeats, and that is why people are turning to their computers like myself. Tamara

I spent most of my time in front of my computer. Main reason of watching television is due to some interesting movies we would like to catch on t.v. But, with torrent and free online movies, I could even watch them on internet! Besides most of them are uncensored and I could multitask while chatting, replying emails and surfing internet.Nowadays, I will only use television for news, sports-olympics and watching dvd.

Actually I spend more time in front of computer than TV. At work I use Computer and at home I use computer and I don't even have time to watch television. So nowadays more people are clued to computers than TV.

[b][/b][i]It's actually true.I don't have my tv open right now.When I came home from work I turned on my pc right away to check my emails.Watching tv is useless for me now.I don't want to use it simply because if I open it what I see and hear are just bad news and more of killing or war news.Life is too short to worry everyday of the bad news that we see on the boob tube. When you use the internet...you can choose what site and what article to read.Basically when you are online...you can have all access and the things you need are already online so why use the tv when the pc is considered now the handy friend of all[/i].

I feel it is correct because in earlier days there is only easy TV for entertainment but now there are lots of entertainment thinks are coming among this the computer is most entertaining so there are many applications like games, net browsing and earning money and in their own job applications.

Hi there skenthal I sure do spend more time infront of my computer than I do my tv but the tv programs that are on uk tv at the moment are not very good so it is understandable!!

Yes I agree I spend more time in front of the computer than television! But if theres a good movie to wacth or my favorite shows I can also skip to be in the computer. And most of the movie in the TV now are been repeated for so many times.

My laptop definitely gets more usage than my television. Ironically, I often miss programmes I enjoy because I'm playing on my laptop, then I use my laptop to watch them online. How silly is that? I also tend to play on my laptop whilst I'm watching television. My friends and I are also a regular bunch of computer addicts, we tend to get together to play on computers. I think computers just have more versatility than televisions. With the internet you can visit sites you enjoy, socialise, watch programmes, play games, study. Television just does one of those things and to someone else's schedule.
