What makes a good spouse?

I have often wonder what it would take to be a good spouse? Is it when you are submissive to your partner or is it when you are accepting everything that comes along within the relationship? How do you handle your relationship with your better half? Do they even recognize what you are doing for them? Have they ever noticed the changes that you made for the sake of the relationship? Or was it just like any other day?

I believe in exchange in life and with my husband is not different. I do not think one has to be submissive to the other both have to have agreements and goals and go for it. I do not have to compromise with my hubbie we are actually very very equal in our thoughts and decisions so that helps us in all. I think the secret is to find someone like you and not different, so life is easy!
