What fascinates you most in choice of association?

Man is created to relate with one another .So it is no surprise that one way or the other each one of us crave for one form of relationship or the other .For some its simply business relationship, others, emotional relationship, while for some other people, its simply for support or just the need to be around people .Whichever form pf relationship we choose to engage in, there are various criteria we consider in associating with others. Personally, I enjoy a mutually beneficial relationship and at times I just prefer to help others without any expectation of any benefits or returns. What would you consider your most important factor for engaging in kind of relationship with others?

[i]In the past during my singleness..LOL! I have joined a lot of organizations! My aim were the following, to overcome shyness at first since I am very shy, I can't talk to people before with eye-to-eye contact, I am conscious easily when I am in the group and will always process in my mind what I will say..I am like that a lot during my younger years...SO, I made it!
ANother is to be with my friends, they are very active also in organizations since I enjoy hanging out with them, I love also to join and last realization was when we start doing outreach programs, I feel the satisfaction within me seeing people whom we help smiles and very happy with simple kindness and sharing we have extended to them!
It touches my heart and made me desire to continue joining the org! I always wanted to go back since when I got married, I stop and focus my life to my new role as a wife![/i]

wow! that was indeed a wonderful reason to associate i am particularly happy that you got satisfaction when you see smile on the faces of peopel you helped achieve some smiles that is wonderful,wish you could just go back and do a little more the world could really do with more smiles from people like you.
