English is my native language. I am learning Spanish and I already know French. I learned French for five years when I was at school. Next month I am going to start a Spanish evening class. I am learning it for travel in Central and South America.

French was quite easy for me to learn because it rolls of my tongue nicely as it is such a beautiful sounding language. I think that German by comparison sounds quite harsh when it is spoken. I am sure that Italian would be a lovely language to learn. I wish I was mistress of languages but alas I am not. The Dutch are so linguistic people that it is amazing.

Hi there!
I would love to learn Spanish. Besides the english language spanish is the 2nd most spoken dialect in most countries. My mom also says that in US it is also required to know how to speak spanish when applying for a job. I'm from the Philippines and there are a lot of filipino words that are the same in spanish so it wouldn't be that hard to learn it I think.
Ciao!

I would like to be able to be fluent in the Spanish language. It has become a sort of second language in this nation. I live in the United States. I have been to several places in my life where Spanish speaking people have been around me a lot. They speak amongst themselves and I wish I could understand them more.
I wish that I had taken up the language back in high school. I do know a little bit of Spanish but not enough to suit me.
