Either i'm nuts, or there are gremlins in my house.

Did you ever look for something everywhere, over turning everything you've touched since you saw the missing item last. Looking where you know it should be, repeatedly, then finally giving up. O.k. we've all been there, right? Now does the said item ever reappear right where it should have been all along, and you know for a fact you've looked 20 times before? Whats your theory on this phenomenon? i suspect little gremlins are scurrying about, playing gremlin games to make me think i'm crazy. And those little b@stards are at it again.

Hmm. I didn't get to answer your discussion quite as quickly as I had intended Property. Someone had removed the batteries from my mouse. I'm not being cruel to rodents, but he's getting on and the batteries help him some. Anyway. I searched high and low. Could I find them. I know that they had been there because I got a message on my screen that said "WARNING. Low Mouse Battery". I only get that if the batteries are actually in the mouse. After some time I did find them again. In the battery charger! Now, how did they get there? I am alone in the house and have been since 12 noon (it's now 5.41pm). I can only conclude that the gremlins had been at work. Benevolently this time however. But you can never tell. The good that they do can be swiftly undone. Now, have you seen my spectacles?

i think i saw something move in the corner, i thought it was just my over active imagination, but now that you mention it it may have been wearing glasses. Maybe the mouse batteries were just a diversion masked as benevolence. Have you checked your forehead? Frequently my gremlins place mine there.

They weren't on my forehead. They were under the computer screen disguised as sunburn cream. Huh. We've not seen the sun once today. I can't imagine why they would want suntan lotion.

dsraven... it doesn't matter really if you talk to them... as long as you respect each others existence... actually i do it all the time,..one time, i was so certain where i placed my necklace.. just as i was about to use it, i cant find it... so i went gaga looking for it.. i just let it passed and i spoke out loud saying, " c'mon, its my new necklace i haven't use it first, you can borrow it after... just give it back''... and there was my necklace buried inside my suitcase...

LOL This happens to me all the time...I've always chalked it up to selective blindness but perhaps it is the gremlins...if so, I must have a house full. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

I think you should sit down and have a talk with them. If my kids leave their toys out overnight, the gremlins like grabbing those, too.

If you arrange every thing in order, you will find it is easy to find what you need. Or you can't find it ever it is just near you nose. A good habit can help us a lot. It is troublesome at first to arrange every thing in order. But it will save us time and energy at last.

That's just it. i run a tight ship. Things do have a place and everything lives in its place, yet sometimes they disappear then reappear. Its like there is a hole in the space-time continuum, or something. Things blip away and reappear just were they should have been all along.

LOL I know the feeling. My husband and I are both almost blind, so we really really know the feeling. Unfortunately the best way to find the old one is to replace it with a new one, then we've not only spent money, and have two of something of which we only need one. ROFLOL Another good way to find it is to give up on it totally, and look for something else we've lost. Then we find it. haha
