I applied to a job last Monday and I forgot to ask about the result. So what i did was communicate with them.and they told me that the result will be on the next day.All of the sudden the number that texted me told me that i have passed the exam.Me being a little confused because the person uses a "hi jessica". I replied to it as thank you together with my name.It did not text me back so i assumed that it was the name of the texter because i always uses sir/madam .I was thinking that she has introduced herself to me.The sad part is i went to the company and i waited there and i text the person it did not reply to me.no apology or whatsoever.

My guess it, the texter misdialed and wanted to reach a person named Jessica. Unless it said 'hi you passed jessica' instead of 'hi jessica you passed'. See that's the trouble with texting. All the abbreviations and shortcuts can cause a multitude of confusions. It looks like the person receiving your message(s) is confused and discarded them without further consideration. Unwanted texts addressed to the wrong person don't warrant a reply or an apology. What you should do is call them, thank them for the opportunity to take the test and inquire about your results. Always ask for the name of the person you deal with. And never, ever, text them unless they asked you to. Email, mail, and phone calls are the only acceptable means of communication when applying for, inquiring about, or otherwise communicating about a job with a prospective employer.

Yes you're right but the problem was they did not published there phone number and they communicated to me by text that's why i also use it.And When they use the jessica name i replied to them with my name they should have apologize for sending it to a wrong person because they are giving a false hope to a person .
