i have a project and i want to know the difference b/w internet and intranet.
if anyone know the difference b/w internet and intranet...?plz tell me.....

Internet is for the whole wide world to see, Intranet is for a limited amount of people to see. Most companies have a lot of their applications on the intranet, which is seen only by their employees.

Sudalunts was right. I guess you can think of the intranet as like a company network in which you can only access the applications at that company or location. The internet is accessible anywhere you have a connection to it.
