Happy Left Handers Day

Today, 13 August, is international Left handers day. It is started with the aim of promoting awareness of the inconveniences & difficultis experienced by the left handed people in the predominantly right handed world. Though there is mejority of right handed people there also successful left handed people in every field. One advantage of the left handed people is that they can do most work by both hands. I have read that these people are more sharp in maths. It is true for my lefty brother as he is very sharp in maths & chess. His handwriting is also very best. What is your experience about lefties?

I am a left handed person myself, and I have heard.. and can testify from my own experience, that lefties are more creative. They use the right side of their brain, which deals with being more creative. It's cool though.. that they have a day dedicated to left handed people, because there really are not too many of us!! Only about 10% of the population!

Thank you very much for responding. It is very nice to see response of lefty herself. Actualy these people are forced to do every work by right hand by their parents. But it seems that it not true for you. This day is to celebrate the advantages of being lefty & raise awareness of the challanges.
