Have you ever had a dream that seemed so real that when you woke up you were disoriented? I have dreams like this a few times a year and sometimes it can be very disturbing. Most of the time I don't even remember the dream and I think that can be scarey.

Almost all of my dreams are so vivid I have actually had to wonder sometimes if i actually did it or if I dreamed it. I was late to school once because I had dreamed that I got up and went to school. I was so disoriented when I woke up it was like going to school 2 times that day.

I hate when the dreams feel so vivid like that.

I have done this also. The only difference is that I never made it to school as I had a 2 hour bus ride.

yup, i was sleeping in a couch in the office.(sleeping is allowed during lunchtime-laughs) in my dream, i was sleeping in that same couch, wearing the same clothes but there was a little boy sitting beside me. Scary part is .....he leaned forward as if he wanted to whisper something or wake me up. Our "lunch time" is at 1 in the morning , i tried to scream but no voice came out tried moving my feet to get up but was unable to. i tried to move my arms so i can push him away but i can't. the child has no face. i tried some more to move and scream, i was on the verge of crying..... and then i heard my co-worker's voice telling me , to wake up. After that i was able to get up. Later, i told him i was having a bad dream and he told me he could hear me murmuring. Since then, i rarely sleep in the office couch anymore. The little boy i dreamt of..... my co-workers later told me..... was haunting the building...particularly our floor..... former employees have seen him too....

When I was younger, between 10 and 25, many times I would be conscious of my room, think I am awake, but unable to move. There would be nothing visible but I would sense a presence of evil, but no matter what my efforts, I could not escape - I could not scream (that I know of) could not move - very frustrating, and very, very tiring. I remember one time having an episode when I was living with someone. He was snoring really loudly (in my dream or in real life? who knows?) and I was so frustrated I put my hands around his throat and started choking him. To no effect obviously, because he still snored away. I stopped after a few seconds, and asked myself - "Am I really doing this?" -- He never said anything about afterwards, when I knew I was awake, so I was in the clear - During the earlier part of this period another dream did not have any visual input - it was all sound and touch. I am in the middle of a crowd, with very loud talking, and everyone is pushing against one another. I wonder if that is the reason I have a phobia to crowds - If people are pushing against one another, I don't want to be there. REALLY don't want to be there.

Hello Kat4676, Yes I had dreams like that and I believe that if you have dreams that seems so real and when you woke up and feel disoriented is because you were actually there in spirit, your spitit had left your body to go to that plade or seeing people so when you wake you wake you spirit retuns back to your body, but its nothing worry about you were just travelling. I have one every night that I am being hit by an 18 wheeler, I put my hands out to stop the 18 wheeler and I am unable to do so. I put my hand through an window one time when I was sleeping because I was trying to stop the 18 wheeler now I do not have my bed under a window due to this reason.

I don't even remember what my dream was about, but I remember waking up and thinking, "Thank goodness, it was just a dream". I got up and had breakfast, and then REALLY woke up. I was still in bed, had been asleep the whole time, dreaming that I had woken and got up. It was very weird, and I felt quite strange all day. I kept wondering if I was awake or asleep.
