Do you prefer Gas OR Electric?

I personally prefer gas over electric simply because it seems to heat faster. I mean my cooking gets done a whole lot faster, my clothes are dryed in 30 min instead of an hour. Although electric is a lot cheaper, the gas does things a lot quicker for me, so it saves me time. It's weird going to my parents and cooking becasue they have electric, it just seems to take for ever. So... do you preger gas or electric? Why do you prefer it? In a perfect world everyone would have....? Please share your thoughts. Thanks.

Well when it comes to heating gas is so much more affordable to run, I used to have electric heating where I used live and I just couldn't afford to have it on all that much...as far as cooking is concerned, I can't cook with either...
I think I would choose gas every time...
