We always tend to pick a group where we can feel comfortable. We pick sides, we share opinions and we addresses our differences and conflicts. Concentrate what company you hang around with? Don't you see how we go towards selecting our colleagues and friends? Is it just random or our ways of selecting certain faction is predetermined subconsciously? What do you think? Does our way of picking groups and sides can in fact be a microcosm to human life in general?

I think we pick our friends by how we like things, how we view things and how we have our similarities compared to other people. And general, if you ask me, the main driving factor of selecting friends would most probably be survival and comfort. I agree that indeed its possible that its a microcosom to human life.

Truly, if we won't feel comfortable around our friends and close acquaintances, then they won't be your friends at first place. I agree with you when you say that we do share similarities in our ways of contemplating different things in this world between our friends. However, my main point of this discussion was that if a few of our friends can share the same perspective, wouldn't it be better if all of us, meaning every single one of us can share and respect one another viewpoints. Don't you think we would be living in a much safer and peaceful Earth if we start practicing tolerance? Thank you for agreeing with my point of view also. Have a great day friend!

I see, well it would be a better and safer world if we all agreed on things, but having different opinions is the price we have to pay for having intelligence and wanting to survive. I do agree with you that we need a bit more tolerance specially in this day and age and I for one would be willing to give all the tolerance that I can. May you also have a great day and I'm happy to participate in this discussion. If only more people could talk and agree like this, imagine how better off the world would be.
