Ranatunga is the chairman of the Sri Lankan cricket board. We all know he led the team to World cup victory. Now he has been behind finding the new talent (Mendis). He identified that person as a raw talent. Then gave him good professional training. He was also with the Sri Lankan team learning many things for over six months. Now Mendis is part of the Sri Lankan team and has been instrumental in their team winning two cups (series in pak & test series in SL). Really a true champion. Salutes.... Your views...
