Are dreams the opposite of reality?

This morning my husband told me that he dreamed that we had our own child, a rolypoly little kid romping around with him. Over the last few years my husband has frequently told me that he dreamed that we had a baby. There are variations of the dream. Sometimes its still an infant, sometimes its a child, sometimes its a already a child. But everytime we wake up reality is always opposite of the dream: we still don't have a child after almost a decade of marriage. I wonder what it could mean. Any opinions?

dont worry about your dream.i think you will have a baby very soon.we cant say whether dreames are opposite of reality.generally people get many dreames.some make sense while some are stupid.i always get meaningless dreames.be happy with your dream.

Babies in dreams have many meanings other than the obvious; one longing to have a baby. Babies also represent something new in life, change. As a baby, it is something new (job, position, challenge, etc) as a child... it is something that is growing and continuing to change, as an adult, the change has matured. I say all of that without know what's going on in your lives, without know you or your husband, and not being inside his head. Maybe his dreams are foretelling the future about a baby in your life soon. Then again.. maybe not. He should write the dreams down. Keep track of them. Note any recurring themes, surrounding (work? home? school? etc) He may be able to figure it out for himself.

Hey, thanks for sharing that with me. I didn't know that. I think I'm going to make a sort of dream diary for him. Maybe it might have a sort of pattern and there might be meaning to it all. Thanks again and take care.

Well, it's really hard to say whether dreams are the opposite of reality or not. In ancient Chinese culture, there's a specific book telling you what you dreams reflect. Something like wizard but it works somehow. But this book also had its own limit, that is it hasn't been updated since the day the book was published. Many things changed, in our dreams there're Internet and Cellphone that never appeared before. My suggestion is that just have faith. Then you'll make it. Have a nice day and enjoy mylotting!
