Is long hair more appealing to guys?

When I was younger my male cousins used to tell me about how they preferred girls with long hair. And look at all those shampoo commercials, those lovely, shiny long tresses that make your mouth practically water with envy for the girls and maybe desire for the guys?
So could it be true that guys really prefer long-haired girls to those with short, boyish haircut?

I think a woman should have her way the way she wants and how it best suits her. My hair is very fine and so if it gets best a certain length it looks flat and lifeless. I could grow it long but I dont think it looks very nice. I pefer to have it short. At the moment I have it very similar to Kimberley from Pussycat Dolls. Maybe men do prefer longer hair but I look much better with mine shorter.

Its better to wear it the way that suits you best than to try something that looks like a disaster, right?

So that confirms it. Whenever I ask him, my husband denies it but I can tell he likes women with long shiny hair :-)
