How will you tell someone that his/her zipper is open?

If that's a stranger, I don't think I can tell it. I'll just turn around and won't bother to look again. But if it's someone I know, I'll tell. I know they won't be offended and be thankful that it's I, a friend who told them not a stranger. How about you? Can you tell that directly?

I have experienced riding a bus or jeepney with some strangers whose zip are open. If its a male, I don't care, I will look away and won't tell him. If its a female, I will tell her (in a low voice) if is sitting beside or in front of me. If she is seated far away from me, I won't tell her. I might say it in a loud voice, she might feel bad if I broadcast it. There was also a time when my classmate zip is open, I just elbowed him, and say the bird might fly away. And he understood right away.

well i dont think i could tell anyone that i dont know that their zipper is down, but if it was someone i knew, i would pull them aside and tell them or i like some other ideas, look at your own and fix it, hopefully they would get the hint!

one sure way is to adjust our own zipper. this is a big chain reaction.. and I have been corrected and induced into checking my own zipper and tie.. very frequently. This is almost like yawning. which is a contagious chain reaction. And, I heard, women and girls of my area.. say something like SUNDAY is LONGER than MONDAY.. to indicate that there is some abnormality in the dress code... or if there is some unwanted display of undergarments.. etc. I am not so sure about this.

if it is a stranger, I will just ignore it. But if it is my friend, I either point it well only if we are with other friends, I point it when I am a chair away or just infront, I tell it straight to the person, even if really close friends are nearby and the best thing I do, I tell it in to their ears. I dont get ashamed to them because we're friends.

Or make a loud 'cough' and point down to the zipper area.
