what is the best way to be healthy

Each country, each religion and, each practice of life.. suggest different styles of healthy living. some say, eating tomatoes gives you renal stones. due to oxalic acids. Some say, eating vegetarian .. is not suitable to HUMANS,as we cannot digest raw foods. we have just one stomach as against seven.. of cows. some say, eating animal protein is a sin.. hence you will go to HELL. which is the best way to be healthy?

I think the best way to stay healthy is to eat good foods, a nice variety of fruits and vegetables and whole grains while avoiding a significant amount of fat and processed foods, and to exercise at least minimally during the week. I am vegetarian, but I guess this lifestyle is not for everyone. I try to get lots of variety in my diet, and I have been a healthy vegetarian since I was 11 years old. I am now almost 29, so it's been a very long time for me and, physically, I've been as healthy as can be. I don't take any supplements except some B vitamins, because I get enough vitamins and minerals in the normal foods I eat. Also, I exercise once or twice a week in my home doing aerobics, and my boyfriend and I jog 3-4 miles several times each week. This keeps us fit and our heart healthy.

oh. I forgot about the aerobics. Hope you are doing very well with your health. that way, you can keep away from the DIRTY DOCTORS of modern world, who name themselves as specialists .. but no nothing about the human body. I am glad that you are taking to VEGETARIANISM. do you take MILK? it is considered to be animal protien. Even PRIMATES, the monkeys and chimpanzees do eat bugs and insects. Zoologists say, we also need animal protien. Thankyou for the comments. You are marked best, without waiting for other posts because, you reminded me of DAILY EXERCISE, which I have not been doing these days.

Dear friend, There are many ways as suggested by different people to stay healthy. The only difficult part is to implement it and make it a success. As each body of human varies the health and the way it has to be maintained or treatments too vary. Hence I feel that having good food and better exercise with positive thinking may give better health. It is also known that both mentally and physically one should be healthy. Hence I hope yoga could give much of mental and body health and strength. May be there are other methods too. Choosing these depends upon one's interest.

I think the best way is to eat whole grains, no sugar, lots of veggies, and balance each meal that you have a food group at each one. Then you also need to exercise! It's helped me lose a lot of weight the past few months, so it must be working :)
