Editing Mylot profile - why wont it let me?

Hey there guys I am pretty stuck on how to edit my mylot profile as I want to include a banner/link in my profile but its not currently letting me even edit anything bar my interests or the colour scheme! Do I have to reach a certain rating or something to be allowed? Am I doing something fundamentally wrong? I am clicking on My Profile, then Edit Profile, but it does nothing. Will give best reply and + to the first person who tells me what to do and it works, even if its nothing to do with them making it happen just because I am feeling nice.
