I hate IE! So glad you switched. I am a Firefox fan myself and have been for a couple of years. I recently started using Opera also. You might DL it and take it for a test drive, I am really liking it. I like to keep up on the latest and greatest browsers, some others I have on my computer are Maxthon and Crazy browser. They are both ok too. I do not care for Netscape however, not sure why, just never had much luck with it.

For me I prefer Firefox, for a lot of reason. One is, Firefox features the all-too-familiar tabbed browsing feature. No more opening multiple browser windows, eating up your precious RAM and slowing down everything on your computer. While a more recent Explorer version can provide the same feature, Firefox pioneered the idea and there is a definite difference in feel when using tabs in Firefox as opposed to Explorer. Also a very important topic amongst those interested in browsers is that of security. Most studies show Firefox as marginally better in this field as well even though Internet Explorer had years of a head start. This has been partially associated with the way in which Explorer is tied into the operating system while Firefox is a completely independent application. Add-ons are a popular browser feature that enables enhancements to be made to browser by users. Well Firefox does anyway. Internet Explorer is notoriously hard to code add-ons for while Mozilla even provides help in doing so on their website. They welcome users who add functionality to the browser and a much wider range of applications are available, doing everything from music playing to game downloads. Finally, a feature of Firefox exists that is not really a part of the browser on a whole, but is rather a modified version made by users called Firefox Portable. This application allows you to take your browser, along with its history and bookmarks, with you everywhere on a USB Flash Drive.

A clients family member turned me on to Mozilla Firefox. I like it a lot better. Now I only use IE when I take certain surveys, some won't load with Firefox. It's just an added security when online.

Im using Firefox. Its much more secure and faster! When I use IE I get loads of pop ups (even tough it shutted off) and things. I have been a user of IE since 2003 (until 1-2 months ago) so it feels a bit sad that IE have become so BAD! I really hope they will sort it out soon.

You mean, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer, right? I prefer to use Mozilla since it has much better features and doesn't randomly crashes. I use FF on PC though. Safari is still the best for me since I'm using Macintosh.

you're definitely right, mozilla firefox is better and faster compared to internet explorer! that's what we use at home too..and most of my friends are using! internet explorer is just very slow and dragging. i hate using it.. i havent used internet explorer for a year now, that's when my brother downloaded mozilla firefox for me. since then, i have been using firefox! internet explorer is never an option..except though if i am not home and there is no available browser expect for internet explorer!

Firefox! Internet Explorer sucks bigtime! However, Internet Explorer is still the world's most used browser. Thanks but no thanks to Bill Gates. Laughs.

I use mozilla firefox and I like it very much. Now I rarely use Internet Explorer.Firefox is better than IE in many ways.It is fast and safe.It won't get virus easily. With the help of tab browsing, fewer windows will be opened.Statistics show that more and more people are using firefox now.About 70 percent of the people online use IE and about 20 percent use firefox. The rest use safari, opera or other browsers.

I was previously using common internet explorer in my cybercafe, found many problems, errors. Recently in my cybercafe its showing errors when ever customer open www.yahoomail.com (after their login) and web page get closed. After that i downloaded mozilla firefox & problem get resolved. I personally recommend increase publicity of mozilla firefox, make it as basic internet explorer. For example when i have purchased new laptop its come with common internet explorer not with mozilla firefox. Why its not have firefox?

I like firefox. I initailly had some problems with the firefox 3 but it seems to be behaving itself now. Some places of business actually prefer that to ie7. I am kind of surprised becasue internet explorer used to be the preferred browser. Anyway I am pretty happy with firefox most of the time.

I much prefer using Mozilla Firefox. It is way faster and there are steps to make it go even quicker. If you go to the "about:config" area on Mozilla you can change some of the settings to make your browser go faster.

I want to say something in firefox's own way. "An independent study shows that,in 2006, IE users were vulnerable to online threats 78% of the time. Firefox users? Only 2%." Anyway, I have been using Firefox since 2006 (Irony?) and I found it very complete regarding everything. I mean it's simpler, faster, more secure and a lot more than IE. Yes, I'm a devoted follower of everything Firefox now.

For general web browsing, I use Mozilla Firefox. It's fast, secure and just the best browser around in my opinion. You can customize it by adding as many add-ons as you want. However, a downside to using Mozilla Firefox is that it uses up A LOT of resources. At least from my personal experience that is. I prefer Mozilla Firefox because it is up to date with what people do on the Internet. You can install modifications to even smooth out your browsing experience. I doubt Microsoft loses customers as there are still a lot of products they release that a lot of people use. To an extent, I do like using Internet Explorer when I'm playing Flash Games or Browser Based games on the computer because when I play on FireFox, it tends to lag a lot. It may because of the other web pages I have opened, but nonetheless, it still gives me a bit of trouble here and there. Proud Mozilla Firefox User!
