don't wanna say goodbye to---- SUMMER

I am with you on this one. I don't want to say goodbye. This summer has sure had its ups and downs. There are the days that it's just pouring out and then the other few days have been just absolutely gorgeous. Of course you get those days that were so hot and sticky but that is what summer is all about. I have nicely turned a coco brown from sunbathing when we have had the nice weather. Here in Canada where I am from. Manitoba to be exact we are just starting to get summer and I am sad to see it go. :(

Oh, I am so the oppisite! I'm so ready to kiss summer good-bye! LOL. Living here in the desert summers are unbearable most days 115-120. Winters are SOOO beautiful. It usually in the 50's during the day and the mountains with the snow...love it. But us desert rats still have about another full month of 90-100 degree weather...yuck!

It hasn't been a warm summer here, only 5 or 6 warm days or so. Otherwise rainy and not that hot, we couldn't go out without a coat or vest pretty much all of the time. I wish summer would stay a little longer, but as a real summer; a bit hotter with less rain.

I am ready for summer to be over. I don't like the really hot heat. I do like fall it is a nice time of year. It is not freezing outside yet and the kids will be in school so I can get something done.

I was never a summer person really in my life. I have just moved to Alabama from up north in Pennsylvania. It has been over three months now. The summer can be hot in the north but it seems like the south packs more of a punch where heat and humidity are concerned. Our state is situated where it feels the effects of the Gulf of Mexico. We get tornado warnings every now and again. It is a little scary but so far so good. Nothing that bad in the way of terrible rain storms or high winds. I am ready though to kiss the season of summer goodbye. I don't mind the days too much when it is a little cooler. I can appreciate the cool evenings though. And sometimes I feel a sense of autumn coming on. Fall has always been my favorite season. I tend to enjoy the in between seasons where the weather is neither too hot or too cold. Something where it is comfortable. Some people like yourself enjoy the summer and there are those who like to be in a colder climate.
