To do lists

Does any one make to do checklists? I am a very organized person but I can also get distracted or lazy. (like now I should be cleaning and am on the computer.) I love making to do lists because I find that I get more things done. Usually the list is long and eats at me so I work harder and faster and before ya know it there is nothing to do and I have a lot of free time. What do you do to get things done?

I sorta use to-do-lists as I put down everything I have to do that day in my diary and on the white board in my bedroom that's right beside my white board.
I am very organized because if I don't organize everything I'm a very chaotic person. Structuring things helps me out a bunch and I get more things done because I don't have to waste time on thinking what I should do next.
It's allmost like archieving small goals every single time, which motivates me. Every time I thick of a chore it feels like a relieve and a reward.
