Hi everyone! Say you wanted a particular brand of cellphone but can't afford it because its way too expensive. Then you happen to meet someone whose earning tactics is to snatch cellphones from innocent victims and sell them. The person happens to have the particular model you wanted so badly and is offering the item to you at very cheap price. Would you buy the cellphone though knowing it is a snatched cellphone? You don't know who the owner is and its not you who snatched the cellphone. Or would you just prefer not to buy it and just wait for the time when you can afford to buy a new one. Happy posting everyone!

These days cellphones can easily be traced, when the police come looking for a thief, and they find you in possession the stolen cellphone, you'll be blamed for the crime. You'll get charged a large fine, and then you'll end up having spent more money on buying essentially nothing but a bad report on your file, than it would have cost to purchase the new phone in the first place. Even if the police didn't get involved, there's no doubt the phone company would stop the phone from being able to make calls, which means you would have wasted that money. In the unlikely event that the person who had their phone stolen did not report the theft, I still wouldn't buy the phone. By purchasing the phone you're encouraging the thief to steal even more, it could even be you who he steals from, possibly taking a television and a computer one day while you're out.

if i knew that it was stolen, i wouldn't buy it..It's like you're an accomplice because you are aware...Besides, what if the snatcher killed the owner in trying to get his things..if I buy that, I would feel that i too am part of the act of murdering the person...It might be cheap but I don't want to be haunted by the thought that it belonged to someone who was murdered... I'd rather wait to have the money to buy the cellphone or I would go to second hand stores if i really wanted to have one...

I happen to believe in carma. If I bought the phone then something worse than having it stolen from me would happen. I say don't buy the phone. It doesn't matter if you don't know the owner of the phone. How would you feel if someone snatched yours and turned around and sold it to the first person they could? I would not be too happy.I would not for any reason buy the phone. Save your money and go buy you a new one. It will make you feel better.Besides,it might even be cheaper by the time you get your money saved up and you can still get it at a "steal".
