Sorry if this has already been discussed, I didn't see it right away so figured I'd start it.
First of all, I have been avoiding Mylot b/c last season I heard way to many BB spoilers! So just now I decided I'll come on mylot between Tuesday when the show ends and Thursday b/c there isn't anything that can really be spoiled during those days :)
Ok, so isn't Jerry disgusting? Please tell me you agree! He lied the first week and had to take off his military gear. Yet suddenly he's questioning Dan's religion b/c Dan lied? Dan is a much better person than Jerry. Dan get's yelled at by Jerry and APOLOGIZES. Jerry gets yelled at in the house and what does he do? He YELLS BACK and talks down to the ladies, tells them to shut up, oh and grabs a girls boobs. His wife should be proud.
I read one website where someone said "Judas betrayed Jesus, so what, does Jerry think he is Jesus?" Exactly. Calling Dan Judas for a game that is about lieing is ridiculous - especially when Jerry lied in the very first week. AND Jerry got rid of one of Dan's close friends so if anyone should be ticked, it should be Dan.
So what are your thoughts?

I am so glad that you pointed this out! I have said this all along but many of the mylot members who love BB are telling me that you can't compare Jerry lying to Dans.
I totally agree with you. Jerry is way out of control. He has no respect for anyone but those who are going to get him ahead in the game each week.
I tould think that his family must be embarrassed by his behaviors and attitudes in the game!

Yep you can totally compare it. Dan shouldn't even have been expected to be nice to Jerry after Jerry got rid of his first ever alliance member (Brian). Jerry is pretending to apologize and play nice now, but I don't think it will last long. I hope he goes.
And it's not just about the lying, it's about the reaction to it. Dan could have said "Jerry you lied, you are a disgrace to the military... HITLER!!" but he didn't b/c he's got class.

Hey did you notice how now that the show is over, and Jerry was out, he went back to pretty much saying he was right to call him Judas. So it just proves he was just pretending to apologize.
BTW - I was sick that Jerry got second most votes for the 3rd prize! Who would vote for him?

I totally agree with you. Dan is a much better man than Jerry is. Now Jerry goes and apologizes to Dan about calling him Judas...but he only did that in hopes that Dan would use the pov on him!

I compeltely agree. We recently got DVR and it has come in handy for me to pause the TV when Jerry comes on calling him Judas. I am always pausing it and then venting to my boyfriend about what a hypocrite he is. I am utterly shocked that NO ONE has said anything about this in the house. He basically did the SAME THING. He took off his military stuff, Dan his cross. He betrayed Brian, Dan well in their eyes them. Where is the difference here old man? I really wish the houseguest would open their eyes to see this.

My husband does the same thing! He doesn't say it's stupid, but he rolls his eyes about the drama. Then he'll walk by while I'm watching and ask me who won but usually he's talking while something is going down and I have to pause it... THen once I start going on about the show, he gets bored and leaves :-D

Haha, I do the same thing, yet my husband doesn't watch so probably doesn't even know what I'm talking about :) I think the HGs are starting to all get tired of Jerry. obviously Renne, Keesha and Dan don't like him. Now April and Ollie are getting tired of him following them around, pretty soon, he'll have no one on his side.

My boyfriend "doesn't watch it" either. LOL. I say that because for soem reason he says he ABSOLUTLY hates the show it's "stupid, pointless" blah blah blah yet he is always in the room with me when I watch it so I vent to him.
But last night I was watching in the bedroom and he was in the living room on a computer game so he could hear the TV and he was like "Who won POV?"....."Oh now Jerry is sorry huh?" LOL I was laughing so hard....I just might convince to cmoe to the dark side...there is still hope.

I am not a fan of Jerrys either hes an old cranky jerk. I always find it funny when people get upset at others for lying come on people its BB they all lie at some point. i thought Jerry was funny like the first day but he has gotten on my nerves ever since but not as much as i dislike Keesha and libra and April and lol not many to like in the house this season.

Jerry acted like a sweet old man when he entered the house, but quickly turned into a swearing, loudmouth, pushy, jerk! I agree, it's funny how people can't accept that they might actually get lied to in this game that is about lieing. Anyone who thinks they should be 100% "in the know" should lose the game for being so dumb.
Sounds like you dislike most the girls :) Actually it's funny b/c I thought I would like Keesha and hate renne (however you spell it). However Renne is actually growing on me. She may be annoying, but she seems to be a nice person. Funny that she was almost out in the first week and now she's becoming one of my favs.

I know I didnt like Renny either but I find her less annoying now.......ok shes still annoying but she seems pretty nice just a bit crazy lol.

Vivasuzi, I'm like you- afraid to see the spoilers. Today is a safe day though, since last night was the live show so I'm caught up now.
Here's my opinion on Jerry. He's 75 years old. He's set in his ways. He's an outcast among the other houseguests. Cripes, he's 50 years older than Dan! So I give Jerry some slack because he is so out of touch. He was way too harsh on Dan, and he took Dan's vote last week way too personally. Probably cuz Dan made him look like an idiot, because Jerry went and guaranteed Jessie that he would be staying, that he (Jerry) had made sure of it.
Then Dan goes and votes Jessie out.
Jerry will feel stupid once he finds out Dan was AP last week. I like the AP twist. I wish they'd offer it to Ollie so maybe he'd be forced to vote against April!

He is certainly out of touch, especially the way he tells the woman to shutup or shush. His wife should kick his butt!! Jerry's fault for gauranteeing Jessie, not Dan's. No one should ever gaurantee anybody anything in this game. I like the one week AP twist also, but doubt they would do it twice in one season just b/c Dan already knows about the twist.

Oh how he's always calling them "Dummy"...real classy Jerry *rolls eyes* for an older man he sure doesn't know how to treat women. I hope he doesn't talk to him wife that way!

I think we started to touch on that in another discussion the other day but really didn't delve too deep. But you're right, Jerry is a hypocrite. I don't see how taking off his military gear because he was going back on his word is any different than Dan taking off his cross. I guess it wasn't okay for Dan to do it since it went against what Jerry wanted.
Jerry sure is a big talker when it comes to the topic of respect but I'm not really sure if he knows what that it is.

I don't even actually remember Dan taking off his cross as Jerry said, but even if he did, so be it. Maybe he doesn't want to wear it everyday :-D Besides, the game is about getting as far as you can however you can, so for Jerry to pretty much EXPECT people to do what he wants- he was getting way too cocky.

Hey there viv! OMG don't even get me started on Jerry. He had no right to say that to Dan and the bad part is that Dan didn't even have a choice in the action and cannot tell anyone. I hate that he is being treated badly, but it is the game. I do wonder if Jerry would apologize in the end if he knew that Dan was America's Player. I thought I heard him comment when talking to Michelle, that the only thing that could justify his actions was if he was America's Player. We will see what happens.

When I saw this old guy entering the house at the beginning of the season, my first thought would be he would be the first voted out. How could he possibly fit in? But he came off as an old softy and gained everyone's friendship. Now he is just a nasty, mean old man. I want him gone!
I haven't made many comments on this season's BB because everyone seemed to be leaning towards that side of the house. I am for Keesha and Dan. I don't see anything wrong with Keesha at all. She is no Danielle or Janelle and that's what has pleased me because I was expected her to be.
The Judas business is crap. It is so weird how EVERY season religion becomes an issue in the house. It is a game. Why can't they just stick to the game and quick criticizing each other for what they are doing themselves?

I don't care one way or the other for Keisa, but I like Dan and wish him, Keesha and Renne stick together b/c if they do they can be pretty strong.
They might not look for religious folks persay, but I bet they look for extremes "find the most religious person, find the most rude person, find the most liberal person" b/c then they know there will be conflict. If, on the other hand, they picked 10 catholic type ppl, religion would probably never come into the game b/c they are all the same. I'm sure there'd be other conflicts though :)

I for one am sick and tired of Jerry. He is a complete hypocrite and it totally sucks. First week yes he had to take off his marine gear and get Brian out of the house. He totally backstabbled Dan right there. But for him to go around calling Dan Judas and doing that dumb cross and making it well known that he doesn't like Dan is just going a little too far now. Come on now we all know that he don't like Dan and that little speech the other night wow. If anything Dan should be the one that is mad and upset here. I want Jerry gone and next week I hope that he goes home. If not I will go there and evict him myself. That is just how bad I don't like the guy and want him out. He has totally buried himself in this game and he has no one to blame but himself. He is a sad excuse for a man.

Yes I forgot about the cross part, that was bad too. Many would consider everything he's done sacrilege - and I think he flipped off Dan's religious stuff too after he (jerry) won POV last week.
Let's send banners :) "Jerry is a liar and hypocrite!"
