If I'm not a Christian today in this hardship that all of us are struggling at present, I might do something bad in order to survive. Since I am a Christian, I just take it to the Lord in prayer. We are having a really hard time, with the gas price, fare, food and everything increasing? and salary no increase? Oh!! it is unbearable. But thanks God through prayers, We always have something in which we don't expect. God is always using people to help us when we do pray about it. what about you? do you have any experience being a Christian? thanks for sharing.

I must admit that my faith wavers once in a while due to hardships in my life. I have struggles with financial matters and the like. My husband and I are trying to get back on our feet. We have moved a few months ago to Alabama. I believe that my faith has been restored as I have gotten older and experienced some things in life. There has been stresses and hard times. Also some personal losses. I believe there is the supreme being of the Lord to watch over us all and he wants us to come to him in times of trouble. I do like being a Christian. I am born again. Now I am not a very religious person but I do like to pray for the strength that I need when it comes to certain matters. I pray to be courageous and patient and I believe that he does hear me. We do need to lean on God more. If the world would embrace this way of thinking perhaps some big problems could be alleviated. I do respect that people have their own beliefs and I wouldn't want to take that away from them. But I know what I believe and I feel pretty good about it. Have a great day!

Yeah, I'm very thankful to know the Lord! Life is hard... it's always going to be, but no matter how hard things are, or how bad they get, our hope is Heaven, and that surpasses all of the horrible things that can happen in this world. He has His hand in everything we do, and I love how He constantly reminds me that He is there... even when I doubt.

absolutely!! you are right!! I think, since we are human, we have the tendency to doubt but God is really true to His promises and he is always there to hear our cries for help.

My Faith is like shifting sands changed by every wave... I have to admit. I am one of those who are inclined in studying the Word yet have failed in preserving my life faithfully dedicated to the Lord. I have things that I cannot give up and that proves my untrusting behavior towards my God. But still, He never minded caring for me despite of my negligence.

Well, I still admire you because you recognize your weakness and still believe that God did not give up on you. That's a very good attitude. Of course God is always there for all people no matter who and what they are. No body is perfect, everbody is struggling for our spiritual condition.

I am glad I am a Christian. If I live Holy in Christ until I die, I have a home when I die. I actually have a place to go to where I will live forever with people who love me! But back on Earth, I know God has not promised a life free from trials. But I am glad that I have a source to draw strength from in Jesus...the living water of Christ, I drink it and am never thirsty! And it also helps to have a sold-out to Christ, praying wife. Glory!

I agree with you. God did not promise a life free of trials here on earth even if you are a Christian. But He promise to be with us and he invites us to come unto Him. That's our hope and encouragement.

yes it is good that you are religious minded and get shelter in the religion, as religion whatsoever may be routed to the Almighty God, having different name in different religions, but He is the most merciful and beneficial, The God is one and alone, almighty the creator, running all the universe. One should study all religions with not being biased, and find out the real and only religion guiding to Almighty God and having faith on His oneness. Almighty God, the creator, show all of us correct and right path leading to the heaven.

Well, being a Christian doesn't speak of any religion. As long as you believe in Christ you can be considered as Christian.

Ok being Christine does speak about the religion known as Christianity, Believing on Holly Christ does mean that your talking about the religion Christianity. But Christianity teach us some thing and guides us to some divine, route through religion to the Almighty God. It is no harm to read and understand other religion without being biased and to find the correct and actual path , path of righteousness leading to the Lord of this universe, the creator, the Almighty God. One should seek and find the right and correct path, the ultimate aim of any religion.

Amen, celestial! Yes, we are living in very difficult times, but one thing is for certain: God is with us always and He will provide for us. We are never alone. He promises to never leave us nor forsake us. God can never lie! I am so glad that I know the Lord Jesus Christ. I take everything to Him and He comforts me and gives me strength. We have hope in the Lord! There is strength in the name of the Lord! There is power in the name of the Lord! There is hope in the name of the Lord! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Just take it to the Lord! God bless you!

Oh!! Wow!! I like that song Springlady, that is one of my favorite songs. Good you like that song too. Yes indeed, there is Power in the Name of the Lord. He said, Come unto me ye who are heavy laden and I will give your rest. what a wonderful promise. yes, taking everything to Him would lessen our worries because He is always there if we believe and trut in Him He will always make a way for us.

I am Pagan. I have no inclination to do something bad in order to survive. this isn't because I am religious, but because I am Moral. I was raised not to steal, or cheat other people. my morals keep me strong, and are separate to religion entirely. I don't do "bad things" because it's not RIGHT to do them. not because I fear divine intervention. this doesn't mean that my Gods don't help me deal with hard situations. they give me emotional strength to face the troubles. but it's my morals rather than my religion that mean I am not resorting to crime.

Same here. For me, Christianity is not a religion. It's a lifestyle and a personal relationship with the Creator and Saviour.

infact our being alife today is a testimony, awful things are happening on earth these days and i believe we are in perilous times where different kinds of things will be happening. There is famine in the land, some families cannot eat three square meal a day. Most people are living below a dollar per day. But God is our sufficiency (the title of one of my blogs -in my profile). He is the one sustaining us, it doesn't surprise me because all these happenings are already written in the word of God. People are becoming just lovers of themselves and money and the love of other is waxing cold. In country Governors, President and other office holders are embezling our funds are they will stack them in over sea accounts and everybody just suffering. God is our strenght and He is faithfully. He said in His word that the righteous will not be forsaken and their children will not beg for bread. We are standing on His promise with faith and we know that we and our children will not beg for bread. Their is shortage of rice supply worldwide, one discussant here said in their country phillipines that people do cue in shop just to purchase rice which is happening in other countries. As I write now, rice in my country is big people, the price kerosene is high, fuel is high, gas is high and there is inflation even in my country. Believe in Christ and it will be well with you and your family.

You're absolutely right. I experience christian life everyday. My struggles are always there but I cope up with the grace of God. Jesus is our saviour and we should be thankful of that. I just try to look at the world from God's view. I assure you it will make you stronger. Even if I was born with a different belief or religion I would definitely become a Christian one way or the other. God bless to all of you.

I am blessed to have known Christ. Without God, me & my spouse would not have been able to go through our hardships. We're still going through it, but we thank God for providing us an arm we could held on to forever. May God Bless You abundantly and Hv a nice day!

I, too, am glad I'm a Christian. God has always provided everything I need. I also am blessed with good health. My heart goes out to people, including many Christians, who don't seem to understand that not only did we receive forgiveness for our sins, but there are innumerable other blessings that are ours because of what Christ did for us on the cross. I'm very thankful for God's mercy and sacrifice towards us. I'm thankful that by the stripes of Jesus Christ we are healed and for the fact that if we bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, God pours out a blessing to us. I'm also thankful that Jesus defeated the works of Satan, and I'm looking forward to the time when Satan, himself, will be defeated.

You know what's cool though? It makes for such a good witness . . . to be content in whatever situation we find ourselves in. I guess Paul said it better. My mom and dad were both POWs in WWII and lived on rice, salt (if lucky) and barely had enough water to drink from day to day. Yet, they thanked the Lord for everything they had and also loved and later forgave their captors. We do have it tough these days but it shows how much we relied on the Lord in the first place--or should have.

I am really glad you are experiencing a rewarding life as a Christian. :) But, I really wish to comment on the first sentence of your discussion. It gives the impression that non Christians might do something bad in order to survive, which is utterly false. There are millions of non Christians in the world, and they are nice people. I am a non Christian myself and wouldn't dream of doing "anything bad" just because of a few hardships. Cheers and happy mylotting

Hello celestial Having a religious leaning I appreciate ur feelings of being cristian and the lord stand by u in these hard days. Since you are glad I am proud to be SIKH INHERTANCE if this religion is full of sacrafices who fought with the Mughals and others in society for the mankind and saving the modesty of innocent women of all faiths. Do u know about the Great Sikh Guru's. Have u listen the name of GOLDEN TEMPLE it is situated in Amritsar in Panjab in India. To us in every work we execute the gur is always with us. In sorrows and pleasures the guru is always there. Every body do whatever with the grace of Guru. Not in crises in food and gas we do every thing with the grace of our Gurus. I think yuo will comment on it.

I am happy that I am too but of course each to his own belief. I think that the belief that we are guided by a supreme being is what saves us from all of these problems. Also I think it is in our determination to live that makes us survive along with the graces from above.
