So lately Ive been staying home a lot and Ive been watching many many cartoons. My sister and I were watching Sponge bob and she swears that Sponge Bob and Patrick are gay lovers.lol..But seriously ive notced that alot of cartoons have double meanings and things that kids just dont catch but are SO inapropiate.Like when Patrick wears stockings and high heels..lol or the many times he shows bare booty:]..lol the list goes on . I think its funny but my sister seriously wants to stop her kids from watching a couple of cartoons..Whats your opinion?is she exagerating or do some cartoons cross the line?or are you like me who think the kids dont even catch the inapropiate things therefore it doesnt matter?

there are cartoons for kids and there are cartoons not for kids. simpsons is not a cartoon for kids, south park is not a cartoon for kids. some cartoons like you said has double meanings because you see it that way, or you see it maliciously. since we are kids we see a lot of cartoons that live happily ever after then kiss but kids does not find it malicious. i think parents plays a big role on how to choose cartoons their kids will watch and what not to watch.

Well funny because im watching spngebob quare pants right now lol. But I dont think there gay because dosnt spngebob like sandy. He got jealous one episode when she was hanging out with larry lol. But I guess they do that there for adults since I dont think kids will laugh at half of the jokes they do on those cartoons.

Since i first seen Sponge Bob i found it inappropriate for children. From Patrick soaring threw the air with a flag between his rear cheeks to him wearing stockings and hills. Also in one episode sponge bob cross dresses. To me it doesnt matter if the child doesnt understand whats going on its still inappropriate to be shown to a child.
