I am not a online game person and would say I have no attention span for them as I just dont get much satisfaction from them.
Its funny because I have a friend who is 27 years old, has his own business and good at it but man when he comes home he is all about the games. Has his XBOX hooked up to his big lcd tv and video rentals and thats what he does.
But what you wouldn't know is that he was once a well known DJ (in a common metro area) to a businessman with his own home business but now he loves to game in his spare time and thats what he's content doing. Whenever I come to visit instead of going out he gives me the "been there and done that" but I know he really wants to hook up with a girl but I wonder if this gaming habit of his is gonna get him the right score he's looking for. I mean I can see a girl thinking its cute the first two dates but come one man, 27 and your hobby is video games and Mystic? Now I will tell you that he is a family oriented guy and has tons of functions with his family but its just when he's not doing those things its like he doesn't know how to just 'hang' if it doesnt involve video games, but he will let you play.
Now I know all about grown man being stuck to their videos games but,
Marriage--Do you see it happening?

Well, if he's your friend surely you should just be happy if he's happy? My boyfriend is 30 and a gamer, and I'm a gamer too. There's nothing wrong with it. I don't like going out either very much as I don't drink.
I think you should mind your own business to be honest, it's his life so let him live it the way he wants to! He's not hurting anyone.

No your wrong, the reason I brought it up is that even though he is successful with his business and very involved in family functions you can tell he is very restless when it comes to relationships and at one point was always trying to make me his girlfriend until i Finally convinced him we were good friends but I was just not into him for a relationship and we were not compatible like that. We live in two entirely different states so dont get it twisted I do not try to run his life as you would be so quick to assume.

Then I don't see the problem? If he keeps saying that he wants a girlfriend then just say in the nicest possible way "you need to get out there and meet someone then!" or maybe suggest online dating?
It's up to him to do something about it, and if he won't listen to your advice then there isn't much else you can do.
