Freedom!!!

Friends! Freedom is a prime necessity for all of us! Today, 15th August, 2008 is the 62nd independence day of our country India! Our country attained freedom on this day of 1947. This day is clebrated with much pump and ceremony among Government and non-Government establishments! How you celebrate your independence day in your country? Please discuss in details!

First of all a happy independence day to you. Freedom really is a great thing to have and we too cherish our freedom a lot. Perhaps we celebrate our freedom much like yours. Here we celebrate freedom with a grand parade, as sale on almost all malls, free live entertainment programs for the masses, fire works at night, discounts or freebies on national places like parks and museums, the TV will have shows that are closely related to independence day and most families go on a long weekend like vacation. If you ask me I mostly prefer a small family gathering after going to church to celebrate the independence day. Its simple yet its meaningful specially form me.
