I have a neighbour that has three dogs. They barks every time they get out. I found this neighbour at my fence feeding treats to my dog through the fence. At the time I didn't think anything about it, other then thats nice. But now my dog barks for my neighbour to bring him treats. Another neighbour came to my door to complain about the dog barking. I told the neighbour that it wasn't my dog because he was in the house with me at the time. But he insisted that he went to the other neighbours house and they said it was mine. Now I can't get my dog to stop barking. What a visious neighbour I have to get my dog barking to get her three dogs off the hook. Does anyone have any ideas to get a dog to stop barking? I would love to hear any ideas.

When your dog goes outside to potty- go with him. If he goes to the fence and starts barking, take him back inside. If he goes out and potties, take him back inside and give him a treat. You can also tell your neighbor to stop giving treats- maybe tell them that your dog has severe food allergies and has to have special food/treats and anything else can make him sick.

If you dogs are barking when they are asking foods to your neighbor try to give them food and if they already full maybe they will stop barking to your neighbors. You can also try to talk to your neighbor in a nice way that don't give your dog a food because it is hard for you to stop them from barking and your other neighbor is feeling annoy because of that. Try to explain it in a very nice way to avoid misunderstanding.

I have same problem like yours. My dogs also bark continously. Some time it worries me that my neighbours might not be happy with the dogs, have them reported to the authorities.
