are you an impulse shopper or do you plain everything you buy?

I pretty much paln everything I buy, I will mostly only go out shopping if there is something specific I need. The only other times I will go out is when my favorite stores are having really good sales that I just can't resist.

Most of the time I go by a list but have on many occasions bought a few things that I had not planned for.

I would say maybe 25 percent of my shopping is impulse. I have an idea of what I want when I go to the store my "must buys" and then everything else is kind of up in the air. I try not to go shopping a lot because I rarely stick to just what I want to buy. There is always something that catches my eye and I think gotta have it. Sometimes though I am able to talk myself out of purchasing something extra.

Nine times out of ten I plan everything that I buy, I have too or else we go short on something else until pay day! Although there is just the occasional impulse buys, today is one of those occasionals as we have just bought two beds and a coffee table! The beds though were a bargain, and bargains have to be impulse buys and the coffee table was needed!

I always plan what I will go for and do not stray from my list! The economy is tough and we have to make ends meet!

I'm not an impulse buyer at all except when it comes to food. I like to go around the mall first and check out all the stores before deciding at the end of the shopping trip what i would like to purchase. Though I don't spend money a lot, I have to take the time to go back for the item/s I want once I make up my mind. I'm not exactly fickle, but I just don't like spending money on things that I don't need yet. So when I see something that I like, I don't immediately buy it. I go home and think about it or sometimes I go out and think of something I saw that would go well with my outfit.

I'm like you...I plan to get only what I need and end up getting a lot more! I try very hard not to do it but it always happens.
