"Have you tried to Post a Discussion and you put it in the wrong Interest"

once i forgot to put in category one of my discussion so they put it in general interest and it recieved 0 response none of my discussions got 0 posts before i think that nobody checking out general interest section its really bad you better be careful before posting look carefully that which category of interest you have put and there is no possibility to delete your discussion but if admins see it they put it to the more proper interest category just tell them that you put it in wrong category, anyway happy mylottings

I have been fortunate enough not to have done this so far, although I am aware that it does happen. I do not post a great deal of discussions and often find it hard to select an appropriate category, so I tend to stick to the general category as a rule. There is no real harm done by posting in the category, but it will be a little harder for those interested in that topic to locate it.

A lot of people do it, especially those that are new and are not sure how to navigate the site yet. Unfortunately, there's no way to delete a discussion once you entered it.

i was still lost when i was new here, seems like i do not know why i am here. i posted something which i can't recall the topic and i was not able to look or search for the right interest. it ended up to a zero response discussion. but i was not bothered that time because as i say, i was new and still lost. one good thing happened one time, a new friend posted a discussion about discussions without any response. so i responded to her discussion and he gave the only response to that lost discussion of mine. (neildc @ red/88/1602)

nope.not yet.but i think it wouldnt change no more.but, dont be sad. it doesnt matter in what interest it is. as long you share your ideas.

Yea it has happened for me twice i guess. I was very worried that my discussion wouldnt be noticed at all.. and for those two discussions i got very less responses as like i get for other discussions :) It happens for me whenever i do it ina hurry burry when im running out of time or spomething like that... and i guess there is no other way of replacement because in mylot there is no way to delete or re -edit the dicussion or responses...

Sometimes it happens, by oversight.. it is nothing wrong.. i have had done this on some occasions. I remember on such time that a friend has pointed me my fault. Also, if you are pertinent in correcting the post, which you cannot do it, so you can write to admin to delete your post, stating with reasons, and post afresh again..

Hello iyah10, I don't think you can delete a discussion that you already started here. I understand sometimes it is just a human error and you don't have to worry too much. I don't have a similar experience as my topic of discussion is always in a general interest like people, mylot, life and etc. I don't really think hard on where to put my topic here *smiles*

Hi iyah. It happened with me once. I don't know if you can delete a discussion or transfer it but I think that you can't do this. Don't worry my friend because we all can make mistakes some times. Hugs and have a good day.

haven't been in that circumstances so far.. if ever i start discussions i always go first to my interest and if i have something in my mind the i go to the general discussion and just do the segregation later on. this forum was not equip with the delete and transfer button. though not very sure when you reach some number of posts already, yet i always heard that there's no delete options in here and only the admin/mods has the privilege to do such.

yes,sometimes,bu i don't worry about that,because i don't find the discusstion by the interest,because my pace of my computer is very slow,and i don't want to waste so many time to find the discussions by internet.

i dont know wheather u can do that or not but it might look so funny if we do this kind of mistakes , but dont worry it happens sometimes. i dont think it will cause any problem but we think a lot about it.

I guess i have but i didnt notice..but i will try to find what and where i got wrong.
