Well the reason there might not be any is that my younger son is going to propose to his girl friend. They are looking into a place to hold the reception and the weddings and so the earliest is August of next year. So now I have to buy another dress since the good ones I got are a little too large. Plus there is the bridal showers and everything to think of. She has a large family, and I know my brother will not make it because he is on disablity and lives so far away, and many of my husband's relatives will not be able to make it either because of distance, so the guests will be rather one sided.
But it does make me happy. My younger son is finally getting married! And it's about time! So is there any major events that are happening in the future or next year?

Congratulations Oh how exciting for you oh God bless the happy couple in their marriage union. Worth not having a holiday for eh! Oh I bet you can't wait now, you have a whole year to plan and to save but boy it will be here before you know it. Mother of the Groom, outfit, hat, the works. I love weddings. Even with distance though the relatives do have time to save up and maybe make the journey, I know I would and have travelled recently to two weddings even though one did cause a financial blip for a while but well worth it to be a part of the couples special day. I have my younger daughters eighteenth Easter time next year but other than that no major events as of yet. One never knows though what tomorrow may be in the way of events or invites eh! gratzz to your son and you , i didnt do any holiday actually this year there wasnt any major events i was just too lazy to travel 
next year i will graduate from university , i am studying law and i will start working after you graduate from law in turkey there is compulsory training course for six months so i wont be able to go for holiday i will start working thats really bad , anyway happy mylottings

Thanks. My son had three girl friends, and with the second one, I was thinking this is the one, he's getting out of the house! Well he got out of the house, bought a new one, but then he and his second girl friend had a spat and that was off. So he tried a dating service and found this one, and she is such a lovely girl, a teacher, and she is French, so he will automatically get a lot of relatives. He knows that I wanted a large family and now I will have one by adoption and none of the two or three children at the most from my husband and his brothers and sisters.
So I guess I will be busy for a while.

Well it cost us $700 for our weekend vacation in Saskatoon and we did not pay for all the meals while we were there. So I do not know what it will cost two years from now. I hope the gas prices go down. But that will mean both our sons will now be married, and no worry about not having grandchildren.

Thats wonderful.I hope he will be very happy..I just went to a wedding not long ago for my daughter as well...I do have an event coming up soon,my daughter is having surgery the 26th of this month & the reason for the surgery is to make it possible for her to have a baby ,which we are very happy about...She had her tubes tied a few years back after her last baby was born but now she wants another one so she is going to go have them untied..I thought it was going to be a minor surgery but no it is a lot more to it than i thought.They will do an incision and it is going to be a 2 and ahalf hour surgery,but she is really excited because her and her neww hubby wants a baby very badly.I will be going to stay with her for about a week while she recovering....Best of wishes on your sons upcoming wedding....

I had my tubes cut but it was not my decision. They were so twisted up that they had to cut them, but then I guess there was no way to keep them open. I would have supposed had I been given the medicine for my vd, and had they not done the surgery, I might have had given birth. And my chances of giving birth decreased from one in a million to one in a billion and I suppose we would have had to make love at the exact second for it to happen.
Oh I can hardly wait for my new grandchild.

My younger son is geting married in October. I am excited about this. She is a very smart, nice and pretty! She is will a lovely wife for him!
I too need to get a dress for the Rehersal Dinner, and one for the Wedding!
I hope that they give me Grandchildren too! LOL

I am so exciting. I have other excited news but I have to tell my best friends first. But next year is going to be so busy. I need a new dress, and I want a shorter one. The one I had at my older son's wedding looked too much like a granny one even though it was turquoise and aqua and my husband insisted I wear a jacket and people were asking if I needed help to the chair. So this time, I am going to get one knee length and clingy!

Congratulations! I hope they enjoy a lifetime of happiness together.
Can't you take the dresses in and make them smaller with a few tucks? Clothes are so expensive nowadays! You might be able to get a seamstress to alter those all dresses for you for less than the cost of a new one.
