do multiple connection on one pc increase your connection speed ?

Perhaps the answer is "no". It seems there are two basic factors that determine the connection speed: 1. how fast is the web site able to return requests (web response time) 2. how fast requested page being sent across into the PC (download time) Multiple connections to a PC (acting as proxy) may actually slow down the connection as seen by one of the users of this proxy. "It seems the proxy is like a human language interpreter. If a second conversation has to be interpreted, the available speed drops." Cheers :)
