I plan on sending my 4 year old son to preschool, but want to continue his education through homeschooling. He is already learning to read. I was wondering if anyone has some great ideas/resources for teaching him math and science. Any help would be appreciated. Please give links or specific names of curriculum. Thank you!

Good for you. When my son was in preschool, I didn't know there was such as thing as homeschooling. But I did work with him outside the preschool. I took what the Bible says about parents teaching children pretty seriously. (And we did home school from 4th through 12th grade.) One of my neighbors who home schools, uses this link as a starting point. It has other links there and even shows lessons for older children too. http://www.homeschoolingadventures.com/preschool.html This is another she recommends: http://science.preschoolrock.com/ I would probably check eBay too to see if anyone has any Abeka curriculum.

Thank you for your resonse. Did you or your friend use Abeka, or is it something that you've heard of somewhere else? I've never heard of it. I will check out the links you provided. Thanks again!

Abeka is often used in Christian schools. It can be expensive, but it's good.

Thank you for responding. I will look into Abeka. If sounds like a curriculum I would like.
