It's close to 140,000 Mylot Members and I think that that number is true yet a lie. I bet most are not even active on Mylot. Probably because they expect so much and not get what they expect. Honestly just think about it if they were really that much Mylotters there will be new discussions every second. so much post on your responses it would be crazy. I'm guessing there is about 30% of that that are probably active really maybe less. Who knows only mylot does. -What is your Opinion about this?

You are right, if all myLotters were active we would go crazy seeing all the new discussions starting. Lots come to visit but very few stay. Not a single one of my referrals are active members.

I also think most of them are inactive.. And they certainly expect too much of it.. They think you get to that minimum payout instantly :D It's their loss :D Have a good day..

I think that the poor payout and the competition of similar websites are keeping people away from Mylot

i think you are right! many people registered everyday but among them only few visit again the site after tomorrow. they only sign-up because they can't refused their friend so they are force to joined them. that population is true if we talk about numbers of members but if we talk about active members the number are far from the truth.

I'm actually okay with this, I am almost glad they are not all active, maybe that would mean less shares for us haha . Nah I doubt that would be the case because mylot is paid for each add that is viewed, and we get our shares from that I suspect. I think less than 30% of the people here are active, because as you said, people do not get what they expected to get, and they get disappointed from the numbers, the people who actually stay here in the long run want for conversation and companionship, not so many are here for just the money, though it is a nice plus while you are having fun. I'm glad with those who are active on mylot though, because there is always a new discussion to respond to and I never really get bored, though in the beginning I was because I expected too much, I am glad I found fun in the socializing part alone.

well i completely agree with you i only have 2 referrals but one of it is unactive for 7 days so even if one of people is unactive out of two you think how many people are unactive out of 140000 mylot members lol so since half of it is unactive 70000 people left well i almost memorized all names in all discussions there is only 80-90 members who are really active and updating mylot regularly i think but thats my opinion happy mylottings

I'd agree with that. I have four referrals and three of those have never logged on to the site since they first registered. The other one has been moderately active, but has not been active recently.

I think the statistics states the truth. I do agree that there are 140,000+ members in MyLot right now but unfortunately, not all of the members are active. Some of my MyLot friends had left and was not able to log-in for about a year now. One member even told me that she was discouraged because she don't know how to withdraw her MyLot earnings through her bank account. I guess money matters is the main reason why there are a lot of inactive members.

I do not think that the number of members is a lie, the computer probably counts those that sign up. But it is possible that a percentage of that number have since left, or are no longer active. I guess that it only counts new members as they sign up.

Yeah, it was really amazing, last time I checked the population it was 140,025. It seems hourly, the population are increasing. Quite fun to know that many people like this sites and interested to joined here. However, it was quite sad as well to know that maybe only 75% of it are active. Yeah, I agree with you, I also think that if maybe all people here are active then, there will be more discussion to response.

I totally agree as I have been thinking for a while now, where are all these people ,there should be more discussions started and comments made, but I'm finding it's the same people starting and replying to discussions .

May be I have to disagree with you. Though you may be right that many of them are inactive, it is wrong that many people means many discussions. Many of the people dont feel like starting a new discussion until they have some thing new or worthy to discuss about. I see that my browser is loaded with new discussions every minute and it is good enough. Just for info mylots population now crossed 140000 mark. It is 140053 as per my browser

I'd have to agree with you. And you're probably right about more than 50% of the other myLot population not being active because they joined expecting to get hundreds of dollars for simply writing a word or two in a discussion topic. I don't really care all that much if all the other members are inactive. It gives a chance for all the actually active people to discuss matters without worrying about some wandering individual interrupting the discussion with an irrelevant post. And besides, maybe the myLot staff is happy because they don't really have to pay 140,000+ members money every other month .

I think this is true. thar are 140k members in total and i most of them are inactive. That's why u'll probably see the same members over and over again in discussions... so I pretty much aggree to wat you say.

You are correct about that. That number that has gone just past 140,000 includes people who canceled their accounts, been banned, or just have not been back. Of those who have been banned, canceled their accounts & many have returned, so you actually have less than that.

The saying goes 'the more the merrier' but we seem to be having fun even if half of them are dormant - or not?

Hi my friend, Yes, isn't it amazing!!! I agree that even if 30% were active on the discussion boards, we would have so much to respond to that we'd never do anything else. Unfortunately, alot of members get on here, maybe post a few things, find out that they are not going to get rich overnight and quit posting. Such a shame that they never get into it enough to really enjoy the fellowship of the site. Happy MyLotting, Char
